Second...

I did a search "Xbox controller" and got One post of someone else asking the same, with mention of perhaps some third party software? Xpadder, i think it was.

Please, try it and let me know.

I first mapped Movement, then Weapons, then Force.
Force I mapped around R F C Q Alt(Speed:) H(ealing)

I have Xpadder myself and I had used a profile for this game and while serviceable it still is a bit twitchy (in controller aiming sense). I have not updated it for sometime and have basically been trying to just get used to the M/kb for it. I don't know if the latest update figured out how to put "look acceleration" in on the emulator but without it, you will find some difficulty hitting your targets. If this is not a problem, I wholly recommend Xpadder. Johnathan did a bang up job on it. Only thing is I paid $16 for it a few years back so it wasn't free but it might be now. Just check it out. It's a nice, safe, emulator with a good community if you absolutely have to have one.
