Black Screen on Launch.
Hi, I just recently installed this game from the Original CD on my Windows 7 machine. Is there anyway to play it without it going into the black screen after I hit Single Player on the Menu? I would really love to play this game again because I now have a HD 6850 and a Quad Core 4.0GHz :D

Press the esc. key. This will bring you to the main menu. For me when I launch the game I get a complete white screen, but pressing the 'esc' key brings the game right up and I can load/save/setup are anything else just fine.

Need assistance with this same issue. I own the CD as the topic creator also does.

I can only get single player to launch in safe mode. Otherwise black screen, nothing else there at all. No sound or video. Frankly, I am just stuck and I have to restart the computer. Esc does nothing.

7950 AMD card. Windows 7.

EDIT: Hmm it appears my firewall was screwing it up. I seemed to have fixed it. Now to try to get some other stuff set up.
