Star Wars: Republic Commando is quite possibly the most fun game I have ever played...no exaggeration.
Republic Commando is a FPS that was released back in 2005 but stills holds up today as an extremely fun game. In the game, you play as RC-1138, AKA 'Boss', who is the...well...BOSS of an elite clone commando squad known as Delta Squad. You have 3 squadmates: Scorch, the munitions expert, Fixer, the computer slicer, and Sev, the sniper. The 4 of you go on many, many missions across the galaxy and basically destroy everyone in your path.
The mechanics of the game are surprisingly smooth and it's easy to get the hang of. You know how to aim at things? You're all good. This game is so worth it for the price not only because of how fun it is, but because of the length of the campaign. I think we've all bought a game and had fun with it but were left short-handed because of how small the campaign was. No worrying about that with this game. You get a blaster rifle, a sniper, shotgun, pistol, grenades, and even a grenade launcher to blow your enemies to hell all while your squad mates are bantering with each other...which is probably one of the best parts of the game.
TL;DR Here is a pros and cons list
-Good amount of content
-Good graphics for its release date
-No extra BS. You shoot things.
-There isn't a sequel.......YET.
(I don't have much play time on Steam at all because I mostly played it on my CD version.)
