Units experience, what does it improve?
Does anyone knows? I cannot find it on wiki or google.

I know they get better but at what?

Experience improves accuracy, moral and maybe even the speed with which the turret is rotated (affects how fast you can shoot) ...

Is it done with a crank then? by hand? ;

or do they grease it better?

its Accuracy (chances better of hitting target on first try)
Moral, (not panicking or routing as quickly as less expirenced crew)
Loading (loading weapons is by hand, the little "loading" symbol completes faster, allowing you to send more rounds down range)

I wouldn't be that sure about the loading thing ... there was an interesting discussion on the offcial forums some time ago: Is the reloading speed really increased ? - test's were made and (if I'm right) nothing as assumed was observed, but you shoot way faster, if you face the enemy directly than when you need to turn around (one assumption/contention was therefore that experience increases the rotation speed and therefore the reloading speed in some cases - here one topic refering to the issue: Aim and target seeking[www.wargame-ee.com])

I've tested the loading speed of non-vet tube arty versus full vet. Didn't see a difference over many minutes of firing.

I've read consistantly that expereince doesnt affect morale either. It's mostly about accuracy afaik.

im a firm believer in the moral. my full vets seem to fancy death more than routing rofl

while my fresh recruits tend to panic hell of alot quicker

Do the units that gain experience keep the buff permantly or if you start a new game does it just deploy unexperienced units?

In campaign, your units will have the experience in the next mission (provided they survive) whereas in multiplayer match you always start with fresh units (you can buy them vetted though).
