I need help

This game worked fine before the free DLC "FATAL ERROR". After i download the DLC, my computer always restart after the game strat for 10 to 15 minutes. Is there anyone have the same problem as i do? How can i solve it? I don't want to give up this game for the wierd reason.

I'm not sure what you mean, the game crashes to desktop without an error message? Or your computer actually restarts and has to boot up again?

The computer will turn "blue screen "and show that "we have detected a problem in your computer......we have to shut it down to pertect your computer....".Something like that. Then my computer just restarted.

My research seems to show that Direct X 11 may be giving you problems for this game, you will need to run it with Direct X 9 instead.

To do this, go to the directory where you installed Wargame, that should be in your steam folder under 'Steamapps' then in the 'Common' Folder.

Right Click on WarGame.exe and choose 'Properties".

Go to the 'Compatibility' Tab and check the box that says 'Run this program in compatability mode for:'

Then select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)' From the menu, then click 'Apply' and try running the game again.

If that doesn't work, try XP Service Pack 2 instead.

Also, update your Windows and drivers. Unless your hardware is borderline (or breaking down) that should fix the crashes.

I am having a similar pattern here, did running in DX9 fix it for you?
Also, I verified the game cache and steam always says that one file failed verification and will be downloaded again...tried doing this twice in a row and it always redownloads a file.

Looks like DX9 fixes the problem. There is an easier way to use it in game options just change API from Auto-detect or DX11 to DX9.

Thanks a lot. After change the game option from DX11 to DX9, the game crashed once. Fortunately, it worked well for one time. I will keep watching and hoping everything goes fine.

Oh no! Not again. It just became normal for once. Now , it turns blue screen again.
