Because It's an execellent operating system and Microsoft's best product yet. The many ways it improves general productivty make it very much worth the upgrade but random comments hating on the OS are amusing to some I suppose.
I'm running the game on Windows 8 64 bit with no issues. Installed like any other game, hope you enjoy if you purchase. I'm a bit overwhelmed right now with all the unit choices :D
Windows 8 is excelent my friend. Most of the "hate" you read about is from people who have never used and are ignorant to the facts. I haven't had one issue with W8 since lanuch. Runs all my games, Pro Tools, and Visual Studio 2012 is awesome!
