Questions on unit management
I understand that when you unlock a unit, any of those units that are killed won't be available for future missions. So if I unlock a specific model tank that has 8 of them, I'll only get 8 period. What about units that are on the map before you order any re-inforcements though? If I unlock a tank that has 8 total vehicles in it, but there are already 2 of them on the map before I call in re-inforcements, are those added to my total number of tanks which are available for that model if I can keep them alive the entire mission? How do units already on the battlefield affect your arsenal? It sounds like a silly question, but I have never had a game that made me so paranoid about asset management. I love the total war games because they are some of the closest RTS games in my opinion to what real combat management would be like. I never played a game though until this series that seemed to get modern combat right. Congrats to the wargame developers on that (not to go off on a side tangent). Any help on this topic would be appreciated though. Thanks.

Also, is there any way for me to tell how many units I have lost from a specific vehicle/infantry group in my arsenal? Thanks.

[1] Yes, in the same operation that is. so if you lose 2 tanks they wont be available in future missions in the same operation, but you can use them again in other operations. You can however try the mission again and try to save some units you desperately need in following missions.
[2] I think so, having 2 already on the map will reduce the number of spawns with 2. You should be able to test this i think?
[3] Not, note though that if you play missions and the units get experienced they actually will get a higher level (so they shoot more accurate), in MP however you'll have to purchase extra experienced units, to a fee of course.

For the missions in the operations i think it shows you a table if you click on them, so you see how many there are ready to be used, so you can compare them to the previous mission.
