Worth it or not?

I heard a lot of diffrent opinions about the game lately so now im asking u guys which played the game since a while, is it worht that much money?

its not to bad, if your a fan of the books or the series im sure you will like it. id buy now that while it is half off.

It's an interesting take on the RTS genre, but by and large it is a single player game. I've never found a head-to-head match online yet.

I honestly hated it. It had a few nice ideas but ultimetly failed in making them fun. The graphical style is pretty bad at capturing the scope of the books. The campaign levels amount to just having units go from way point to way point while terrible voice acting tells you how amazing you are. I really wouldn't reccomend it, even to a player who enjoys the books/tv show.

Well, I hated it, Mostly because i thought it was going 2 be like the first GOT. I got it with a bundle and i regret it.

Is the single player against the AI any good or is it better in multiplayer?

I wouldnt recomend it. I bought itand I have regretted it ever since. After a while you just begin to realise that you just go in a loop, assasinate someone there and arrest someone there. Not many diplamatic options either, which is kinda the reason I bought it.

on steam it is pretty expensive , if you like the The game of Thrones , you should buy it , but you can always take a look to your game shop nearby , prices can sometimes be a lot different!

its ok. ive had a few fun matches and the campain is enjoyable if your a fire and ice fan. But its glitchy and has no replay value.

I brought it played abit then went and got Total War Shogun 2 and never been back

This could have been fun, there are good ideas but they did not developped all the possibilities. So I would recommend it only if you are a huge fan of GoT or the books and not more than 10€ ( don't know how much it would be in $ or £ ).

If you want a good GoT game then I should recommend you to buy the Crusader Kings II game and put the Game of Thrones mod which is very good.

this game is a crime. If you like the books: DONT buy it. It could be set in any medieval fantasy setting. The campaign is a joke and the skirmishes are repetitive. It is a shame, that there is not a single well made GoT Game out there. You have to go for mods

You are unfair to RPG, it is very decent.

As for this game (Genesis), it is so bad that it is even impossible to play skirmishes with AI because for some reason you get enough victory points in 1 minute of playtime (and automatically win), and the Campain mode is even more horrid.

I bought the double pack that got me the RPG game because it was cheaper than buying that alone. I would have to say I would be extremely pi**ed if I had paid money for Genesis. I had an open mind going in thinking "it can't be THAT bad." I couldn't play it more than a minute or so. It's one of the clunkiest unpolished games that I've played in a LOOOONG while. People that bought it at full price should file a class action. "Dated" isn't the word for how the game feels. The graphics are terrible and I'm usually pretty open-minded about that if a game's good. Low poly models, horrid textures. Clunky UI - the tutorial has back and forward buttons on the dialog box, but only the forward button does anything (why have a back button?). The tutorial explains UI elements that aren't even visible at the time, so you have to go through the whole dialog and then look around to find the things you had just read about. The whole feel of the game is SLOOOOOOW - camera controls, unit movement, low framerate unit animations. I feel like I've time traveled back to 1999.

In terms of this weekend sale - I think it says something when they essentially pay you $8 to take Genesis if you're thinking about buying the RPG.

I got the two gamer of throns games bundled for something silly like 90% off in steam sale and so far only played genesis and love it, if you dont like RTS games then dont get it and to the people saying the house v house is to easy change the points needed to win from the starting 10 to 500 then say its too easy
