its an average rpg.... Filled with glitches
but is it worth 10 bucks?
I would say so. I really enjoyed the game. Very similar to skyrim in most ways, just not quite as good.
My 61 houts of gameplay in a single play through suggests that it's likely worth the money you're paying. It does have its issues, yes, but it's fun. Beating enemy faces in with my bare fists was quite satisfying. It has pretty good sense of humor, but honestly the storyline is pretty mediocre. The end of the game is pretty much just YOU WIN YAY! Well, it's more than that, but seriously, there's like, a 30 second cutscene after you beat the last boss and that's it for closure. Totally worth $10 though in my opinion. Without a doubt. I think I actually bought the game at full price after hearing that the 3rd party DRM was removed.
I dodged and fell throught the map, cused out my computer and uninstalled it and I heard otheres have had issues too.
You could always download demo first, if you're unsure. I quite liked it though.
Friggin' awesome RPG, one of my favourites of recent years. A bargain at this price! Took me 48 1/2 hours to beat.
such a shame it seems I just missed the sale and I havent really even scratched the surface of the demo
I will say the game was very well made the story was incredible and I feel the ability to become a dragon was great. But the issues are that the only way I see how the game is filled with 100 hours of game play is the fact that it is very difficult towards the end. But overall I recomand it to people to buy.
I played an Xbox 360 version of the game and its very well made. There are no real glitches of note and i spent hours playing it. The story was good though the monster killing pissed me off I would have liked creatures to respawn not often enough to hinder you but enough that you are not traveling all over with very small entertainment. Chris does have a point about the end being hard i never officialy beat the game but thats more to the problem with how i did my person than gameplay in my opinion or maybe they are OP but in the end it is a wonderfully detailed game with a very strong core story that allows you to free roam but never really get to off track in side missions like other games that send you to do random ♥♥♥♥ on the side for no aparent reason.
If you liked DragonAge Origins get it, you'll really like it. I love this game.
This game has some great humor. Better than most RPGs. Overall it isn't remarkable but even at full price I wouldn't regret buying this game because I had great enjoyment playing through it.
You can check your quest log (main plot quest names are in gold) or conversation log for recent conversations.
There is a point where your character is suppose to be not sure who they are, but that shouldn't last very long. You start off as a dragon slayer, and after running into a fatally wounded dragon knight are told that Damian and the Black Ring are the real threat, after which Talana makes you a dragon knight initiate. Zandalor then shows up to confirm that the Black Ring is the real threat and set you on the path to become a full dragon knight and defeat Damian.
What little you need to know from the first two games is described in various books (especially a couple of the 'history of' series), or you can check out the topic below and see if that helps make sense of what is going on in Divinity 2.

can someone sum up the story[www.larian.com]

Steam did remove DKS shortly after they added the Developer's Cut. I'm not sure why they didn't remove the original release of D2:ED, as well, except that there were some changes made in the remastered version (ie most anti-dragon shields removed from the flying fortresses), so there may be some people who would prefer the original.

The game's overall rating is firmly positive and it's Larian Studios' first attempt at a third-person RPG if I'm correct there. I think Divinity II offers so much, just as much as DD really. Although, the game is linear; it has no replay value. But, there are little glitches (none, that I know of) and it impresses me deeply that the game offers a lot of customisability. I remember spamming Flame Wall as a warrior and boy, that skill is OP! :-)

I'm still unsure whether going back to isometric games with regards to Original Sin is really the way 'forward' though. :-/
I really enjoyed this game, until I got the ability to be a dragon. I was looking forward to it, but once I got it for some reason it never clicked with me. :(

I intend to go back and try again soon though, as I was really enjoying it.
