Dont buy this garbage
None of my guys can ever hold on to the ball, the other team seems to knock out my guys 9/10 times while my hits seem to practily give them health. No matter what the computer wins. This game cheats to win.

Yes, the computer cheats. Since this is an old boardgame it's meant to be played man vs. man. On the otherhand it's usefull to learn the odds. An action has ALWAYS the chance to fail as it might ALWAYS be successfull - against all odds. Having this in mind and change your playstyle this way, you're on the way to your fist won match. Winning is not granted in this game. It's earned.

I'd recommend you reading this, it might clear some things up:

I've had a lot of fun so far and once I learned how to play the game I've been winning most of my matches. Each team has its own strengths and weakenesses, and the key is to learn what they are and game plan around it.

In your case I don't know what race you are using, but some have a very hard time even picking up the ball. That is why you make it one of your last moves in case you drop it. Also if you have a strength of just 3 you are probably going to get knocked around a lot, especially when the opponent gets to role 2 die.

Take the time to learn and it is actually quite fun...

No. Your strategies blatently suck, you didn't put any gear on your guys, and you're using a race that doesnt work with your play style. Lets not forget, this game was meant to be played against people.

The game is far from garbage. I play as Skaven or Norse most of the time and routinely win. Other teams I find harder as they don't suit my style of play, like Dwarves. However, most of the time if you find the team that suits you the game becomes a great way to spend an hour. Generally, people moaning about the PC always cheating dont even seem to understand the basics of the gameplay, then wonder why they get their asses kicked. Gee, can't imagine why.

its a dice game derp....some days you can make 10 successful passes, kill their players, make them weep while you dont have a scratch...and some days....you lose your best player because the apothecary rolls a double death injury....THIS IS BLOODBOWL!
if you arent willing to embrace the luck gods and learn the game ....then dont make neggative advertising and go cry in your dark cave CUZ WE DONT CARE!
ps:the computer is practically playing a ballanced game....even in hard mode....you should try the multiplayer a bit.....you'll see the difference right away

That moment when you realize the computer actually uses the same system to generate dice rolls as the player, in addition to the computer's idiotic playstyle even on hard this means the player should win almost every game vs the computer.

And thus threads like this are due to bad players looking for something other than themselves to blame.

Yes, the computer DOES cheat in BETWEEN matches, but not actually in them, and it clearly does not cheat enough if I was able to manage a near 100% winrate as the teams intentionally meant to be bad such as the Halflings and the Vampires.

halflings were actually the only ones who had defeated me:c.....an awesome halfling throw(with 6 mv) by the treeman ....behind my wall of pain ....then 3 consecutive dodges...GG HAHHA
Heh, I haven't won a match yet. But I'm having a blast. And with each sucsessful knockdown, pass, and so forth my team gets a little better. Course the luck gods can frown on me. Or smile on me. Did my first multi-player match last night. And my entire team got killed, twice. Fortunately all my fielded players had regenerate, and thus recovered from death each time. Also seriously cheesed off my opponant. I managed to kill his heavily leveled massively skilled troll. Then he rolled Death for the reroll apothicary, and his team reroll. Thus losing a very valuable player.
