Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition

Damn. This is pretty hard.
Uh yeah. I literally cannot win on easy in season mode. The ai seem to have fundamentally better teams and I can't seem to get around it. Especially when by the second half around a quarter or more of my team is out with injuries. Anybody have some ideas?

Know that feel man, Ive only won 1 match with the skin of my teeth as humans, compared to all my other failures with other teams (orges, orcs)

I hate to say it but the best way is to play more, this isn't meant to insult your ability as you aren't expected to be good imediately but the reason the AI is given teams that are nearly always more developed than yours is that the AI isn't very good at the game. The other suggestion would be to start playing human players and asking real people to help you as once you have a decent knowledge of the game the AI should pose nearly no threat on any difficulty (aside from extremely unlikely cases were the dice make it impossible to win) also multilayer is where the fun is anyway

I had the same problem but then i found a little cheat, before each match save your game and then if you lose you can go back to the save and do that until you win and its also like practicing so you will get better and win more mtches :)

No it is fine. I just gave up on trying to "play" and switched to chaos and just smashed everyone to pieces.

Read the rulebook for the tabletop game. This game plays EXACTLY like the tabletop. Once you learn all the rules, you will find that you have a massive advantage over the AI due to the AI's incredible stupidity. The tutorial is nearly useless and is probably the sole reason new players have trouble vs the AI.

Avoid playing the Ogre, Goblin, Halfling and Vampire teams. They are not for new players and are considered to be weaker teams as a whole, meant for players looking for a challenge. There are a couple other tricky teams, but they usually have some massive advantage that makes them incredibly powerful in the right hands.

Personally I consider the Orc and Amazon teams the easiest due to both starting out very strong and flexible. The Humans are actually more complex than they appear due to their catcher's being crappy exp hogs and not having any real strong strategy to take advantage of.

Upon playing more I find it is pretty easy. It is fairly enjoyable but does get a little repetetive. I use Elves mostly and they have a similar problem with catchers hogging exp but I usually get at least some sp for a few others a game. I hope for the second one they make the teams ai more distinct per race. As it can get a bit repetetive over time. Thanks for the advice though.

If you start to feel the AI is getting predictable and easy to beat you might want to move to online, play some games in the Naggaroth matchmaking league or find a noob league to join. so you can play with other players who are new to multiplayer

Do you know the rules pretty well? If not, you WILL be making bad moves.

The biggest problem for new players is risk management. Look at the actions you NEED to do, versus the ones you WANT to do. Since any failure can end your turn, first things first.
