Those are some pretty lofty dreams

Not happening. They said something like March 2018. If you really want to play it now, get it for PS4 or Vita. If you don't own either of those, get one of them. I recommend the Vita, because at least you don't have to pay to play online or install physical games to internal storage.

fix that to ps4 since vita version don't have extra content that got release later with the ps4 version (part of it expend the story a bit)

the ps4-exclusive content is such because they could not make it work in the vita system be it due to hardware limitations or file size
Thank you guys. I just want to complain about something. BTW, I bought Tokyo Xanadu ex+ some days ago and it's a pretty good game. Kind of like Sen No Kiseki + Ys. In every chapter, you have one free day to complete quests and build friendship. After that, there are several dungeons for you to clear. If you guys like Falcom, try it.

March 2018? Are you kidding me ?? They would release the game 7 months after its scheduled release date? Their announcement of the game was in May, so given that they have been working on the game since May, that would be 10 months to release the port. It should not take 10 months to release a port. Why would the port take 10 months to release when the game was probably developed under 7? Talk about incompetence, but hey, that's nothing new with NISA

I doubt for both of those reason, just adding extra stuff won't make the game run bad than before, for file size is really not an issue here, they could add those thing as a DLC or update (which use vita memory card not the cartridge), it's a shame that Falcom didn't add it to vita version though, but I'm happy with the game already (aside the translation part)

Are you still developing games for the Vita?

If by "fix" you mean "break", sure. The only meaningful extra content in the PS4 version is the extra dungeon and boss that goes with it. Ys games have never had good story regardless, and Ys VIII is no exception. The story isn't why people play them. Meanwhile, the Vita version has the advantage of portability.
