The Good: Duke himself, Babes (even though they look souless xD), Weapons, Ailens Muiltplayer (expect the damned hackers, but It's REALLY REALLY fun). I would say more, but I think that's all the good stuff so far.
The Bad: Some of the jokes aren't as clever anymore, the story feels like It's a rehash or retelling of the Duke3D story, regenerating health (seemed like they tried mixing classic FPS with modern), two weapons only (though, can be changed by going Into the options and enabling the "expand Inventory" option).
But Hey, It's not as worse as Postal 3, that's for damn sure.
Anyway, I think Serious Sam and Duke Nukem do have something In common, but.. Serious Sam Is alot more Insane than Duke Nukem In my option, but I still love both series.
Youll Like Duke...........
Serious Sam is known to not have weaponlimit, regenerating health, ironsight aiming or stuff, cutscenes/scripted events. Duke Nukem Forever is basically just cod/halo with duke nukem paint. In DNF you have to hide behind cover to regenerate your health, you can't find health kits from anywhere since you are meant to hide behind cover. You also can only carry maximum of 4 weapons at once, making it annoying that you cannot utilize the duke weaponry as supposed to. Instead of having ripper, freezer, shotgun, devastator, rpg and expander.. you have to choose. You have to choose within 4 weapons on what you gonna carry.
Duke Nukem Forever has and shows the ideas which some of them originate even back to 1998 but that don't save the game since it's just modern fps instead of a duke game. You are being drowned in quicktime events, forced weapon choises (bosses can only be killed with explosives), duke can't run and gun anymore since it has a cod sprint move now.
DNF was the biggest game disappointment ever, since like someone already said, instead of us getting the long promised old school fps we waited for 14 years, we got a quick moneygrab cod-clone made for consoles with their controller designed gameplay.
