The physics are kind of messed up on fast PC's.
Since you've already finished the game once, you should've unlocked the ability to change game speed. Do that, and you should be able to make the jump.
I tried to record the problem so people would have a better idea of what i meant,And then i got it from the first time...

Tried making this jump like 20 times before finding this - finally turned on vsync and immediately cleared the gap my first try. For some reason I find that hilarious that a graphics setting stops your monster truck from jumping as far. I also have upgraded my PC since my first play through.
The only game where the Recommended PC specs are lower than the Minimum specs!
Exactly sometimes issues do not rear their heads on dev equipment, there is simply just too many combinations of hardware and software out there that bugs will creep in and wont show themselves till the end users start playing the game and reporting problems.
Which is why I said maybe, so my sentence did not contradict the first.
