The problem with DNF

Okay, here's the problem with DNF. They went too far with the gutter humor...I mean, WAY over the top compared to DN3D. I'm no prude, but man. It's like the devs were living some sorted of twisted macho fantasy while making this.

The game is too linear, and there seems to be more driving trucks, forklifts, lifters, RC cars, etc than actual fighting. LOL

I paid $4.99 for it, but I'm relatively satisfied with that purchase. It's been a pretty cheap diversion.

I pity anyone/everyone who paid full price for this back in the day. Oy.

Yeah, I agree to an extent, it does get kinda cringe-filled, just by the sheer extremes they went to. But all in all, it's not too bad for the $5 I also picked it up at..But definitely extreme pity to those who paid $60. xD

Portal, Half-life and Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons are just three examples of games you own. They are all linear, so thats a bull $hit arguement.

No health packs.
No armor.
Having to reload.
No fully accessable arsenal.

Those are real issues.

Portal is a puzzle game. Brothers is an adventure game. Half-life was less linear than DNF, IMO. I mean, DNF is a shooter on rails. You can't go anywhere except down this narrow tunnel or that narrow hallway or that dirt road.

Also, it wasn't an argument, just a statement. You appear to be the one wanting to make it an arguement (sic) because it doesn't conform to you opinion. /shrug

Regardless, for $5 I enjoyed it.

Duke can't move left or right? You only have one weapon?

Those other games are just as "On Rails".

I disagree with your "statement". You don't want people arguing with you, then don't post anything on the internet.

A thoroughly game. Learn to like it because of its flaws. This franchise was never going to create the next golden dawn of videogames.
