Duke Nukem Forever
Steam Trading Cards?
Why doesn't this game have Steam Trading Cards? Doesn't Gearbox want any of my :bagofgold:?

if only... my guess is that steam only provides tc to some older games. Their focus must be newer games where people are paying full whack and more people are still playing them.

I don't think it's like that at all, I think the dev must pay a fee to use the service "Steam Trading Cards" then configure the cards and their design.

It seems Gearbox/T2 has dropped all kind of support for DNF, sadly. I would love some DNF cards.
Making the cards themselves should be pretty simple, they've got plenty of artwork to use, but they'd have to make smileys, bade artwork and wallpapers as well. Not that it would be outside their capabilities.

That's such a shame, I really think the game is good fun, I don't think it deserved the backlash it received.

Me neither, I think a lot of it came from a botched launch, misguided marketing, and mostly making a crappy console port and then reshaping the PC version after it.

I agree dude. I play this game often and like using my game-breaking weapon combo, since the PC version has been patched to allow you to carry 4 weapons instead of 2.

I doubt it, neither Gearbox nor T2 has uttered a word about Duke Nukem for months. If they would have done it, they would have done it when the cards were new and people actually bought games because they had cards.
They haven't even bothered to patch issues such as not being able to switch teams on the Duke Burger map.

That's disappoint to hear. I only have the PS3 version but plan on getting the PC one.

Do it, it's much better. It looks better, the framerate is much better, it controls better and you can hold four weapons at once.

I just realized they've already made a whole bunch of Duke/DNF smileys for the forum. So they really have little reason not to push out some trading cards, unless they really want to bury the game.

I don't understand the question. There are a bunch of Duke smileys available for use on Gearbox' Duke Nukem forum.
