How can you improve on a game that has not been released?

I beleive he means "improvements to the tropico series that would be implemented in the next version of the game" as in... what was changed from 3 - 4, this is what he wants from 4 - 5.

But yeah, its not a "Steam Idea or Suggestion" and he'd get much more feedback posting it in a Tropico4 forum!

They should have viewable neighbours/borders so you can go to War!

Maybe the battles could be more interactive by you having the ability to organize your men and stuff instead of them just attack in a mob. Also maybe tanks and navies and like Snugly said, be able to go to war and atleast when The US/USSR invades you should be able to fight them, thats just military ideas.

I can suggest about new Tropico 5 to include some new regions, Middle East for example, there are plenty of dictators there !

Just steal some of the ideals from the upcoming Sims City game, that would make Tropico 5 perfect :)

No limitations as to road, population or other factors. An island can be 70% untouched, yet the roads can't be built. Now I know that running the game without limitations would arguably be down to the capabilities of hardware but you asked and that is my answer. :)

more challenging missions would be nice,
In Prust We Trust Oct 24, 2012 @ 7:30pm
possibly different difficulties

More of a dictatorship. Felt more like just a face than an actual viable gameplay implement.

1. Better end-game experience. With over 100% difficulty after 40 years I have 10mil $ and everyone was happy.
2. Maybe economy tweaks - the more you export the cheaper the prices.
3. See what guys that made Anno 2070 did - some factors that change the game are voted and shared across Internet, while you have also your own set of perks. For example make w week of "great war" which makes Weapons go for +25% price, or "Banana overflow" -50% of al bananas. Collect stats and kick some of that "perfect economy" builds to make people find other options.

You should have the ability to fence in some areas.
In that way you can keep the tourists out of the populations entertainment. And the population out of the entertainment that is ment for the turists.
