I have Modern Times content yet did not buy DLC

ok so I got Tropico 4 Steam Special Edition, I have not bought Modern Times yet, but the campaign and buildings show up in my game, the title at the main menu even says "Tropico 4 Modern Times". is this a glitch or something? EDIT: the buildings show up as the placeholder model, the house icon thing and the Modern Times edict shows up but the text is all smashed together with one of the other edict catagory choices and I can't select them, and I can't select the MT campaign Not that im complaining but Im just curious

I get this too, and I get all the sub missions for upgrading to them and such despite not ever buying the DLC.

Same here + game freeze after playing a certain time with these strange buildings ? Nobody seems to feel responsible for this mess.

it may be at one time thie dlc was to be included in the pack but they removed it but it may not be fully removed, It could just be a error.

So this is a widespread thing, huh? Interesting that Kalypso isn't doing something about this, you'd think they be right on it

After I make an edict to cause rebel group to rebel, the game freeze.
Is it because of this?

Might of found out why apparently according to this thread[forum.kalypsomedia.com] if you scroll down a little Timo (a Kalypso dev/employee I assume) says Tropico 4 Gold Edition is on steam.Gold Edition contains Modern Times in it.

However if you type in Tropico 4 in the steam store search,there is no Gold Edition.Also does not show up in the steam app registry[steamdb.info].

I would assume since according to Timo Gold Edition is suppose to be on steam, and the vanilla Trop 4 is called Tropico 4 Steam Edition, there has to be some sort of connection.
