Counter Drought
How do I beat a drought? I have to pay money to avoid crop damages is their a way to avoid this. I have to pay regardless of the restrictions. Can the weather station fix this?

Wheather station mitigates the happiness penalty and cost of mitigating the drought, but doesn't nullify the effects completley. Setting restrictions doesn't completley stop fields from going barren, but it does lower the ammount that do.

You need to have a lot of money. When the fields start to dry out, pause the game and issue the order to water it.

If you are well into the game it's best to just let the drought go. As soon as the drought ends it rains and you are back in business with out any noticeable cash hit. If it's early days and all you have is crops then call the choppers in and water those first that bring in the most money. ie; cash crops.
