My system restarts whenever I play the game.

Hello, each time I play the game it shut downs my whole system and restarts laptop, then I can choose if I want to launch the system in safe mode because it shut down incorrectly. My drivers are up to date, I reinstalled DirecX and tried to reinstall all the stuff the game tries to install once it's downloaded (not sure with NetFramework tho, I followed all steps required to but I'm not certain it did).

At first I thought it happens at certain point in the game right after leaving burning house in Cyprus and going into direction of theatrum (since it happened five times before I managed to get to that jug of water right next to it) but when playing for the sixth time after checking options etc I managed to get there, fought the guys with shields there and when I was on my way to leave the area and go further... it shut down again. Any ideas what's causing it?

I'm using Asus M50Vc, my specs are:
Intel Dual Core T3200 2,0 GHz, 3GB RAM, nVidia GeForce Go 9300M G and I'm using Windows 7 32bit.

Open system Log in Control Panel - Administrative tools - events Select system and check if there are some errors on time your laptop shuts down.
This also can be just overheating

Finding why a game can't start on your PC is an awesome first level. Some people can't pass even this... being a gamer on PC is so fun :)

Please include a description of your problem, a DxDiag.txt. and a link to this thread within the mail.


To create the DxDiag.txt, please do the following:

Click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R.
Then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click Ok.
You will find all relevant information in the following window.
Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window.
Save the file as "dxdiag.txt".
Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" with your E-mail reply.

I'm having a simillar issue, I also thought it was over-heating but that dosen't seem to be the case.
