It obviously doesn't stop piracy, these aren't MMOs where you need to be able to ban people, and any of the 'features' the launcher provides could be provided either by steam, or without the use of my email address.In fairness, from my understanding, the kalypso launcher is no where near as bad as what EA has attempted to foist on us in the form of Origin. I just don't know what's wrong with the old model: I give you money, you give me a game, we both walk away happy.
