Is this game up to date, compared to the GOTY version?
I got a DX11 compatible video card and wanted to replay the game. But performance with DX11 options is bad.

When I bought it the GOTY edition wasn't available, but I have all the DLC/content included in the GOTY version.

However I'm unsure if BAC is up to date or has same version as BAC: GOTY.
The game binary shows version 1.0.0.0.

I'm pretty sure an update won't be improving performance a whole lot anyway. What are your system specs and driver versions?

Core i5 2500K, 8GB RAM, GeForce GTX 670 with 320.49 drivers, Windows 7 x64.

Yeah, that should be plenty to run the game. CPU is a bit of a bottleneck maybe. What kind of framerate are you getting? Did you disable vsync?

The things go bad only when I enable the two DX11 options.

With the DX11 options enabled it's weird because I'll get FPS drops down to 30, and it stays locked at 30 FPS then it goes back to 45-60, but also get a lot of stuttering, which is annoying.

Without the DX11 options with Vsync enabled I get constant 60 FPS, sometimes dropping marginally to 50-55, rarely below that or unoticeable.

If I disable Vsync I get too much tearing, which feels and looks horrible while playing, but FPS will go up to 180, still with minimum of 19 in benchmark mode, or occasional "30 FPS lock" during game.

You could try programs like MSI Afterburner or EVGA PrecisionX to lock the framerate to 60fps without using vsync. It probably won't get rid of tearing completely, but it's likely better than fps drops.

I'll try that. Do you have the vanilla BAC? Can you tell if it's up to date? It's weird it says version 1.0.0.0 for BatmanAC.exe
