I can't start the game!!Help

When I open the game, a message appears saying "A security module necessary to start this application was not found or could not be initialized.(9000). Please Help!!

I have the exact same problem. Sorry I can't give you any help except for telling you that you aren't alone with this. I tried to verify the cache files, reinstalled it and what have you not, but nothing seems to work

Make sure you dont have a windows service critical for checking things like User Authenticaton disabled (That was my prob launching game)

Question.............What is with this windows LIVE garbage. It tells me that my ID or my password is not right and I know that I did it right. I BOUGHT this game and want to play. DO SOMETHING

tommy,it happened to me either,in my case I needed to create another windows live account,'cause mine had been vanished!At least you didn't start the game yet.When this happened to me I was almost in the end of the game,and I lost my saves!
