I liked both, but Dark Knight was just my favorite of the two. But still definately enjoyed all three of the Nolan movies.

If your a fan of The Batman you might want to check out the animated movie "The dark Knight Returns," if you are a fan of the graphic novel you might be pleasently surprized."
As far as the dark knight rises goes it should have been called a Bruce Wayne movie 'cause Batman is hardly in it. I'd say the middle one is the best in the series, I didn't really get into the whole Batman trained by Ra's Al Ghul in the first one.

Actually Batman was trained by Ra's for a short time though he trained many other places too

it's a no-brainer. it has all the best character stuff of batman begins and all the big action stuff of the dark knight.

they should've expanded the story though, added more batman scenes and made two films out of it, released 6 months apart: 'knightfall' where bruce comes out of retirement to be beaten down by bane then 'the dark knight rises' set 6 months later when he escapes from prison to take back gotham.

liam neeson's a cool ra's but art malik might've been better, he's more the right colour for a start. they keep saying the name wrong too, dunno why...

If actually found the second person who agrees with me. Also Tom Hardy as Bane kicked ♥♥♥! That much raw power radiating from him and the flawless acting he put in only using his eyes! Ill admit I loved Heath Ledger as the joker but to me its just not the same thing. I think if theyre going to make any new Nolan Batman films there should be a Knightfall trilogy; just lie the comics, Im sure they could pull of Azreal as well as they can Bane. :D

Story and ending and everything about Rises is better but heath ledger as joker makes dark knight better bane just wasnt as cool or funny

I'm gravedigging here but both Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises were terrible, terrible movies. Batman Begins was just bad which makes it the best out of the trilogy. Dark Knight Rises was probably the worst of the trilogy.

The Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games were so poorly written that they are very nearly on par with the Nolan movies. If WB had been smart they would have hired Dennis O'Neil and we would have gotten some Batman games that made sense.

Personaly, The Dark Knight was the best of the trilogy. It felt darker and more sinister, which completely suited the fact that Bob Kane created Batman for that type of comic book. If you have read "Joker" (favorite comic book of all time), you'll see that the artist took Heath Ledger as the Joker and drew him out, pretty much saying that that is how the Joker should always be portrayed.

I comletley get your point (even though my fave is the dark knight rises) its not necassarily a good film, and from some standpoint is a bad FILM. but the entertainment factor was there, at least for me. Whilst i did like BB, i thought it lacked in the story department (your point about the games is good in relation to this); because when i found out about the main evil plot in BB... I didnt really, did you? did you honestly care. The shoddily put together twin linked enemy story was too overlapping and didnt fit in. At all. So yea mate, i do see your point and the guy after your's. But hell. I liked AVP and con air, mostly because a) the concept is awsome and i love both franchises to death too much to care about how AVERAGE that film is ( lets not get into AVP2) and b) John Malcovich as Cyrus the virus. Nuff' said.

As a whole movie, Begins was my favourite. But I love them all in their own way, for their own reasons. Batman Begins reminded me of why I liked Batman so much growing up, and I went back and revisited The Animated Series afterward. So really, I have Nolan to thank for turning me into the Batfan I am. And AA and AC are both friggin amazing.
