I've spent the past couple hours tryign to get a custom story i downloaded them and cant extract or anything at this point I don't know what the hell to do :/

If you get winwar, then go into the Amnesia directory, "Steam, Steamapps, common, Amnesia-The-Dark-Decent, then look around, you'll find the word "Custom stories." extract them there..
