It's one of the most scary games I have ever played. But don't expect amazing graphics and lots of gore - it's not like that at all. You have to let the sights and sounds slowly immerse you in to the story. Play the game only at night when it's quiet and dark. It's scary more by suggestion than anything else, and it slowly builds as you progress through the game. Definitely worth the money.

Here's the deal man, if you like scary games, this is for you. Don't expect guns, cover, ammunition, health etc. This is different from everything you've already played. Just keep in mind to play it ALONE, at NIGHT, with HEADPHONES. Best experience ever.

If you like scary games, it's probably worth trying. Different people are scared by different things though, and if you don't find Amnesia scary there's really nothing else there to salvage the experience. It pretty much fails as a game.

I thought it was one of the most boring games I've ever played, but I'd still recommend trying it if you can find it on sale, just in case its brand of horror does work on you. Nothing like a good scare.

Definately! I love to play this at night, it adds to the experience. If you want a good scare, I recommend it. However, not all people seem to be attracted to this kind of game. Most of my friends don't like it because they perfer multiplayer shooting games, this game is the opposite. Think of it as a single-player survival-horror. If you are a fan of the scary stuff, this game is for you! :D
