confusion first time player

ok now this is down right confuseing i start the game and im in pitch darkness i was like hmm ok just need to find a way out 3 days and im still stuck and can't pass the door if this dose not scream 'noob' i can't say what dose if somebody can help me with this i would be most happy thank you for takeing the time to read this

I'm sorry, but darkness? The game starts bright in the "rainy hall". If you aren't able to open doors: You have to grab them and either push or pull them with your mouse, like you would do it in reallife. I'm sorry if you know this and I thought you are "that" nooby. Being a noob is not a shame, especially in the HPL2 Engine. YOu can post a screenshot here on Steam and link it, so we know where you are!

It's a technical issue, I've been having the same problem... it might be your GPU...

Your videocard is maybe not supported or the driver isn't up to date. "GPU" is the short version of Graphic Processing Unit and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Graphicscard is the right word, because you have to update the card-drivers and not the ones for the processing units...
