i think the game should be MUCH scarier. The Dark Descent was scary, but it is considered the scariest game right now and I don't think it should be in that spot for very long. It should have the spot, but for 2 years is a long time. The monsters should be next to jump scares and the story should be as good as the first one. I'm expecting you to be good A Machine For Pigs...

It would be interesting to have one enemy that stalks you over the entirety of the game. From what I have seen from the trailer the monster appears, or sounds, to be pig related. It would be cool for the pig to be one monster that has some ultimate goal in stalking the player character throughout. In The Dark Descent, the Gatherers have a simple goal, that of finding Daniel for Alexander, but to have an enemy/monster that has a more personal reason would make it that much more terrifying.

I expect another masterpiece! It would be nice too if they let the player choose the game difficulty, which would make monsters' senses more accurate, faster and creeper.

I adored Amnesia, it really got to me (in a good way). But.. on multiple playthroughs you can't help but learn the monster spawn locations, thus greatly reducing the tension overall. This is not something easily solved without making the game cheesy or overdone (the general subtlety of Amnesia is perhaps one of its greatest horror strengths) but I would like some enemies or level sections to have a degree of randomness to them in order to keep things fresh and unpredictable across further playthroughs. Not sure I really expect that, but that's what I'd like. But either way it'll be great.

I'm going to make sure everything is just right the first time I fire up AMFP. The first playthrough will be the most intense and I want it to be perfect.

Playing Dark Descent in 5760 X 1080 in Nvidea surround (three monitors) is immense along with headset.Hopefully they make AMFP natively the same..unlike call of duty that can't manage to make a game that supports native muliti screen configurations..

I'm hoping it will be at least as good as TDD but that might be expecting too much :)

I really hope they make some scares/events random, or it will make it not scary on future playthroughs.
