Custom stories

Whenever I go to the custom stories section It is empty no matter how long I give it. Am I supposed to do somethig to get the custom stories?

custom stories are fan made levels. You have download them first :)

Please read the existing threads before posting a new one, this question has already been answered a gazilion times.

You can get them easily from moddb, but I prefer the Frictional Games Forum, because they have better quality, and they also have a good development support community if you want to learn how to make custom stories yourself.

How do you get it into your custom stories section? I downloaded it and put it in the amnesia folder but there is no custom story.

Open the files with eg. winRAR, go to C:/(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/amnesia the dark descent/custom_stories and drop the folder there.

I seem to be having a similar problem, only my stories never show up. The only custom story that has worked for me so far is Obscurity. I do everything I'm suppose to do and yet Obscurity is the ONLY custom story that ever shows up. Any suggestions?

You may need to read the txt document sometimes because some custom stories have instructions on how to install them, tenebris lake for example has a launch icon for itself
