so i dont see the point of haveing it on steam
yes yes
I bet you haven't even touched Slender in terms of playing it. It has proven to scare hundreds of thousands of people at least once by sheer atmosphere alone. It's not horribly made; sure, the graphics aren't highly detailed, but you don't need high details distracting you from the original intent of the game.
However, I do agree with you that the original Slender is not fit for a Steam game. Adding onto that, it's already free and available to download from hundreds of different sites, so making it a pay-to-play only game would be a bit stupid.
Though I must say that there are different versions of Slender that could very well go onto Steam as a pay-to-play game, (which I believe can be downloaded for the Slender game itself? Not sure, but I remember watching Markiplier on YouTube playing them, and I was impressed with some of them). Most of them, I would consider buying in a packaged bundle, but not as separate mods alone. Only that one using a separate engine would be worth maybe $5-$10. . .
Edit: Oh, but not the Slender game that's already in greenlight. Just, no.
Is this the game you mean? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvYrA9rCjy4 Because It didn't scare me even slightly when I played it, nor did I enjoy playing it. If that link is not the game you are reffering to, then I'm clueless.
