Spinning. Oh, the spinning.

After a long time, I decided to finally play this game. I'm a pansy when it comes to creepy games. Anyway, the game just keeps spinning. The only way to keep the game normal is to constantly move the mouse hard to the left, which is obviously not doable. Any ideas why this is happening? The screen just keeps spinning.

Unplug any controllers or even USB devices before you boot the game, see if that helps.

You may have a controller of some sort. If not, unplug your mouse while ingame, and if it is still going when its unplugged, your computer is haunted, and so are you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2rwxs1gH9w

It's a gamepad issue. Even a regular USB gamepad or driver you have installed, Amnesia will detect it, and it's probably giving an improper input from that.
I recently installed my Gamecube Adapter on my PC when I played Melee on Dolphin. Then I started playing Amnesia and the room kept spinning. Unplugging the adapter didn't fix it; I had to disable the driver I installed from Devices & Printers because it was still active even when it wasn't plugged in.

It turned out to be my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. Unplugged that, restarted computer, and now Amnesia works without the spinning. Thanks guys, for your help!
