Avalanche of russians players on europe server
What is with this outbreak of russian players on the european server?
Why is it called "European Server" if there are at least 5 russian players in any game that don't even speak english?

Well thats "normal".Even russians don't want to play on russian server with other russians.
They usually troll and flame on EU.

you know whats better? D2 will be the same as other f2p with free sign in. It will be full of leavers/trolls/idiots cuz of it. It takes like 1min to change account on steam and since you got it inside your pc, you dont need to dl it again..
Same problem as wc3 had..no restrictions to accounts..

yes, most of Russia is in Asia. we don't hate russians, we speak in our language when in party, but when a teamplayers talks with us we speak in ENGLISH, as it is an international server, and your compatriots say something like "сосать мой член". Is that right?

The rest of us should invade the Russian servers just to show them who's boss.

Russia is actually the largest state in Europe and the majority of its population leave in European part of the country.

It does seem however that Russian kids/trolls are often more annoying, rude and numerous than EU ones. At the same time i have encountered quite a few Chinese/Spanish people that did not speak or understand English, or kept dying and killing courier on purpose. I have also met plenty foul mouthing English-speaking jerks as well.

Part of the problem is that Russian kids get harassed and put in place pretty quickly if they don't behave while playing on Russian servers, so they move onto European/US servers where nobody can put them in place because of the language barrier. Polite players that know English also prefer to play on US/EU servers so they won't have to deal with kids and trolls.

Bottom line is - there should be a votekick button in addition to report system.

I don't hate on russians, but I don't understand why they can't stick to their own serverpool if they aren't willing / able to speak english

finland and russia share a server, doesn't mean it's only for them. I believe, if you select a region, you have to speak the language custom to that server. Now this isn't a debate about if Russia is a part of Europe or not. Europe's main online language is and will always be English.

that said, I don't mind russian person, as long as they can communicate with me and warn me about danger, with pings, drawing on the minimap or just crude english like "b" "oom" "miss bot"

If this is true, then it explains a lot. http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1225hy/russian_situation/

Also apparently, the server labelled "Russia" is located in Stockholm and some Russians actually get better ping on some non-Russian servers than on the Russia server.
