Is this better than LoL?

Whether it is "better" or not is a matter of opinion. Most people here will say Dota 2 is better... that's why they are here.

Ask on the LoL forums and most people there will say LoL is better. That's why they are there.

If you enjoyed LoL despite being terrible, then I don't see the harm in trying Dota 2.

okay, Dota 2 is far harder than LoL, first game of LoL, I did allright, first game of Dota 2, fed, people reported me for feeding, got 0-0-24, hated it. but then I read a guide, learned the importance of lasthits, and started getting better. Now I get 25-3-15 as Shadow Fiend.

I feel Dota 2 is better, BUT it is a lot harder then LoL. This does not mean you cant play. Dota 2 bots can be very hard to beat, so start with them.

Previously i was LOL Gaming Player, and now was Dota 2 player, for me both got its extras and fun, if you try it than you will know. Although i played Dota 2, i still keep playing my LOL Gaming.

LOL Gaming, i preferred Non-Garena Version, cause there got a lot of other client platform.
Garena Platform of LOL Gaming having a bit unprofessional handling, exp in punishment pool, client complaining and easier get hacked.

LOL Gaming
- all champions (Hero in Dota) was randomly free to play
- if you wan to keep your own champion, you may buy it by using your RP = RiotPoint which can be collect by playing game, or you may buy it with cash as well.
- in game there got 2 Masteries skills to choose for you to ultimated your hero in the game (one of it got effect like MIDAS in DOta 2, and others...... )
- unlike Dota 2, LOL Gaming got other varies map, so we can train better or non bore.
- unlike Dota 2, LOL Gaming got Surrender Button when your team need to surrender the game.
- etc..

and so many so many hahaha.............................. all got their own fun ~~~~

I play both League and Dota. For me personally I think League as a game is a tad better than Dota, but i my experience with Dota is more fun than with league despite that, therefore i play Dota more than LoL.

My 2 cents, 90% of League characters play the same.

Very few Dota 2 characters operate on the same gameplay mechanics/style.
