**RESOLVED** All my DOTA2 items was stolen.... My Steam Guard Account Security is active.
I just log my account just now and I found out that all of my DOTA2 items was gone... It was traded to an account names "Cin"... I don't know this Cin and I never log in to any 3rd party website. I am very careful on where I log in my account and I dont understand why this happen. I asked steam support to please trace down where my items go and also tell me the IP address that was used to do this trade but have not received any feedback from them. I don't know how is it possible.. My Steam Guard Account Security is active... Any advise?

This means someone has both your Steam and Email passwords and was able to log into both.

You need to wait for a response to your support ticket.

They will return the stolen items on your first request. If it happens again, they will not help you.

I hope so... well I guess i just have to wait for them to get back to me.. :( if they will..

Yesterday I got a reply from Steam support team ( 3 days of waiting is not bad at all considering they have millions of players who probably also got issues and need assistance)

What they did is that they reversed the trades committed by the hijacker on my account as a one-time customer service gesture. They said that they will not restore items that are hijacked a second time. So I guess I will need to be more careful this time... They also reset my password and sent me a separate email about it (with my log in details) and they advised I change it once logged in and also change the security question answer. For security reasons, password resets prevent the account from trading for a period of time. If you change the password while logged into the Steam Client, your ability to trade will not be affected.

For those who will experience this in the future.. first thing you need to check is the trade history.. get the name of the account involved on that unathorized trade and get a screenshot and create a ticket with steam and attached the screenshot so they can easily investigate. Wait and be patient.. That's the key! And above all do not trust anyone with your steam password specially if you are a frequent game item buyer (using credit card)

Stealing is a grave offense.. I'm sure that account who hijacked me will be permanently deactivated...

Which is why naming and shaming is not allowed. For all you know that is just another account that had been hijacked and was being used as a 3rd party to try and protect whoever did what they did.

It might be.. but in my case I dont think the owner of this account who hijacked me and the one who is really behind this scum are two different person.. I have a friend who is complaining right now on his facebook saying that he can no longer access his steam account.. The system is telling him that his account was involved on some kind a fraud/stealing game items issue and that he will be permanently banned. Coincidence? nah I don't think so...

A total of 213 items including my Compendium Taunt Pack that I recently got. I had a complete set of CM, Lich, Shadow Shaman, Mirana, Clinkz, Broodmother, Anti-Mage and Axe.. Not to mention my Genuine Valor and the Limited Edition Smeevil Courier who by the way was already evolved. He took everything including a bunch of common items I collected from the day 1 I play dota2.. He left all my treasure boxes anyway, I bet he can't afford to buy keys thats why he didn't bother to get those boxes... I got everything back thanks to steam support.
