Greetings.
I have been playing Dota since 2006 and actually I have never been good at it. I learnt builds, counters, antipicks, but there always was somebody better, luckier or just playing with better team.
Making the game vol.2 actually F2P creates loads of crybabies spamming forums with "NERF that, BOOST that, that's OP" posts, without any knowledge about "original" mod (by that I mean W3 IceFrogs' versions).
I understand, sometimes is balance required, but if you can't counter opponent with your hero/items choice, then it's not about game mechanism being imba.

Famous quote of Freedom's thread "DROW NEEDS NERF":
"please nerf her a little impossible to escape and please cut your crap with uhh you need to counter her. yeah i need to invest all gold just to counter her ? "

Yes, you really need to counter her.
