Snipers ult cooldown?
is this a joke? so every 20 seconds or so i can be pushed out of lane or killed? bottle only has 3 charges, where is the balance?

Even in the old dota Drwarven's Ulti cooldown is 20 sec.

ok granted, but do we still think this is balanced? i was playing zeus 1 ult half my health, 20 seconds later np dead. ??? even if u dont die once out of heals u must be and lose cs/xp/gold ?

Remember, other than the ultimate, Sniper has no attack moves. You don't use Shrapnel to down a guy, you just sit there and suto-attack. Sniper's incredibly squishy, incredibly item-dependent, and incredibly slow, so Sniper is REALLY vulnerable. So yeah, Sniper's ulti needs to be a little overpowered to compensate for the sheer lack of efficency.

talk to keeper of the light........ his illuminate does even more earlier in the game(although sniper is a carry and should use his auto to harrass)

Exactly. Valve is usually pretty good at balancing their games.

still, snipers autos are indeed good i mean he gets mini stuns :P the sharpnell is justu sed to slow you to get more autos in, then use a 10 sec ult. also keeper of the light is annoying, but the problem is if you are smart you know how to avoid it. kinda hard to avoid snipers ult range :P

The mini stuns can be bad as he removes large chunks from your health bar while you can really run away...and then he ultis and finishes you off. A fed Sniper with a desolator is a nightmare.

yeah i know all heros have pros and cons, as it should be. but a 10 second ulti that deals 655 dmg and cant u buy an item to make it deal more then that? im no pro just wondering what everybody elses thoughts are?

its also not an ult, and i dodge maybe 10% of them, is there a trick to dodgeing them(in lane)?-dont say move to the side, its as wide as the lane.and yes i hate the mini stuns too, i just dont think its op, only reason i might think that is that it is the only thing that ever kills me as slark(excluding being tabbed out accidently in a teamfight

just try to avoid his shoys use forcestaff.jump with slark or even jusr uel's septer ur self into the sky but do it at the right moment and u life be a pro not a noob...

i just think a 10 second cooldown on an ultimate is abit rough, i mean look at tinkers cooldowns, and they dont do near the damage, granted once u get a build and can afford to use his ult more its alot better. but any halfway decent player can kite u allday with sharpnell then ministuns then R. lets not forget he does have epic range :D

It has high mana cost, sniper can't spam it.

Tinkerer is a pusher
and if u want to avoid sniper, use rikiwhen his ult shot is after u, blink behind it. HE will never see u cus invis, and kill sniper super fast with his backstab. All i can say is counter-pick this dude and u easily win.

Wait...you were playing Zeus, and you couldn't burst down sniper? I'd say you would win this lane hands down...once you're lvl 6, you using your 3 active spells on him should do him in easily.
