Isn't that what the punishment pool is for?

Left4Dead is ruined by votekick.

Nope. I was kicked several times by crybabies back in HoN. For example, one time I was playing Scout ( he's similar to BH in Dota ), I was carrying and had most of the kills on my team. Sure enough, the HoN community is so stupid they complain even when you're helping them win the game. Everyone is like "OMG U KEEP KSing ME NOOB GTFO", so they votekick. The 4 idiots on my team pass it because I "KS too much" and the enemies pass it because I keep stomping them and they know they can win if I'm gone. Sure enough, I checked my recent games list and they ended up losing the game that we were WINNING while I was there.

Don't need the same type of crap happening in Dota 2. People will get kicked out of games for no good reason especially when you're on a team with 4 premade Russians who want to kick you just because you're speaking English or something.

Votekick would just be so bad for this game. If the other team has any say in it they all would vote Yes. Like why not? It's a free win.

Yeah in L4D I started votekick random people just to troll them. Most people don't even ask for reason and press YES.

OMG ty so much for this discussion or we mightof had votekick, from the reasons u guys mentioned im glad we dont have it

Votekick is not Votekick like in other game.
I purpose a votekick with 9 votes required. If the other team would, they can vote. The 4 vote isn't enough.
So let me get this straight, 9 you're suggesting that it be asked of the enemy team if a potentially good player gets kicked out of the match for whatever reason?

If I was playing *against* a team with an intentional feeder/griefer then I would never vote for them to be gone. If it was someone carrying the team then I would in a heartbeat.

Not exactly a recipe for success.

я бы не советовал это вводить,т.к. 4 агрошкольника могут кикнуть любого нормального человека.если даже не 4 то возможно 9

9 votes? Other team sees a bad player on vote kick? One of them is smart enough to say no. Good player on other team? Out he goes.

Nooooooooooooooo votekick. Yes, I agree, there's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ players from time to time, but there's not much you can do. Just report and hope they get punished.

I have nothing against the idea... but, I'd like it to be implemented in the following manner: Instead of allowing the enemy team to vote ( which just seems wrong ), only the guys from the same team can vote. Meaning, that at least 3 YES votes are required to kick someone from the team... since you'd be kicking out your own team-mate, it's not an easy decision to take. Most of the time, people wouldn't use this option... but there were times when I would have much likely preferred to kick a guy who was just extremely bad, was ignoring all advice and feeding the other team... I'd rather struggle in a 4v5 fight than a 5v5 where one dude is feeding someone else in the enemy team ( or more people ). He might not be doing it on purpose ( he could just be really, really bad / new ), so I wouldn't necessarily want to report him ( no one was born a Pro ), but I'd much prefer to try my luck in a 4v5 situation instead of 5v5 with him feeding.

let the opponent team decide if a player is ruining the game or not. 3 vote is too low.. cause some lamers can invest time about that. 7-9 votes is good. Fairly players exist.
Dilan Jan 30, 2013 @ 6:01am
Fair players exist, but the chances of all 9 making a fair decision is very, very, very slim. I played HoN for over a year and I can only recall a handful of vote kicks that were actually justified. The other hundreds of vote kicks were for stupid reasons, like someone will start a vote kick just because someone didn't level their skills the way someone else wanted to, then he types "Please pass", and the guy is gone out the game. If you want this♥♥♥♥♥♥happening to you go ahead and support this idea.

Im not saying i would definately without doubt votekick a russian on my team.
