Look guys,

The community is just getting worse and worse. One of the main reasons people transfer from LoL to DoTA is because LoL's community is terrible to be in and DoTA's is slowly getting just like it. Don't get me wrong, I still play LoL occasionaly for a fun and casual break from DoTA, but DoTA has more technic and struggle to be played *too* casual for my liking, so I play DoTA for fun, professional matches.

When I load into a match and chat is spammed with "Go support" "Omg y no carry?" "y u didnt support? ur noob" it urkes me as I'm sure it does many people and don't give the whole "What if the team has gone all carry" because granted a balanced team has a real good chance of winning, but so does an all carry team if they players know what they're doing. You get 10 minutes into the game and maybe you've had a bad start, you've died maybe twice and one of your 'team' mates types in all chat 'report "xxxx" pls" and that continues through the game? No, stop that, someone had a bad start and chances are, if they know what they're doing, they can make an easy comeback.

Second; "Mid or I feed" do you know how immature and sad that makes you look as a player? Really, grow up. That goes for the term 'noob' as well, what is this, 2009?

... Not to sound like a complete and utter cow bag, which I have (lol yey controdiction), don't get me wrong, some of the community is lovely. I found a group of people I instantly made a team with before because they played and co-operated so well. More like that.

So all these douchebags I've seen lately come from LoL, eh!.. But yeah, I know the feeling. Every once in a while I get a nice balanced team and all is well. And then a whole bunch of nothing. It is how it is.

i know the feeling, but i think it have become better now. I have only heard someone rage in 2 maches this week in almost 10 maches, earlier i heard it 7 maches out of 10. most of it is becouse language in machmaking does not really help and needs to be fixed.

Too many people who think they're so good they just keep trash talking all game long. To those people I say, if you're so good, how come you're playing with me? I'm a n00b, guess you're a n00b too :P

I have to agree with you. Sadly many people I play with go all carry and I have to support 4 carries and that pisses me off and so many people get pissed off at tiny things like first blood off you and all that. But it really bugs me that when who I am laning with asks everyone to report me for feeding when my K/D/R is like 2/3/1. I mean I am totally fine with a K/D/R like that but not my team.

Maybe you're the one saying bad things to them which starts the war between users.

For me the community has actually been quite good while sticking to West Europe.

Sadly this is the influence of lol, kids with no brains pick carry, fail,blame others cry on forums for nerfs. Or pick supports build as carry, dont help or ward, rage when the other team rapes them, cry on forums for more nerfs.

The funny thing is, LoL players have all come here and started whinning about adding functions to make the game more LoL like, you know.. the game they just left and were unhappy with.

I agree, please people, stop bossing teamates around and stop trying to make them feel like crap if they don't listen to absolutely every little thing you say. I get the fustration if you think you know better but telling people they should kill themselves because of it.. is that in any way necessary? do they realize it's a game?

I don't say anything that isnt necessary. The only comments I have ever made during a game consist of "Good game, well played" "Tri-lane top/mid/bot" "Can someone come gank top/mid/bot?" "tower almost down" "Good job, well done" "You can only report people for text abuse, voice abuse, ability abuse and intentional feeding, not for disconnecting from a game or dying once/twice unless intentional" "Please can we focus and stop argueing" "we wont win like this" "Stay on defence"

That is pretty much all I've ever said during a match of DoTA. I came to learn not to say hateful and pointless things but to use good logic and understanding to get my point across and quite frankly for a mod to say such a thing to a community member isn't all that professional.

True. Noobs, dorks and little kids dont play single draft, captain mode or all random.

One thing that helps is...buy a mic. Ragers rarely use mics to talk, and hearing your voice may keep them from raging at you. Also, as you get better at dota, you'll get matched up with better players, and there will be fewer ragers. I've actually never seen anyone say "mid or I feed" before. I'm kinda curious to see what it's like. :D
