It's pure speculation, but I suspect at least word of a new arrival this month. It's been long enough.

So I assume you are perfect with all the existing heroes?

It would be foolish for me to make that claim. I just think that it has been long enough that Valve could consider bringing in the next Hero from Dota.

Why the haste? Are you guys perfect with every other hero and have nothing to practice with them? Are you getting bored with all the other heroes?

It's still more important to add more gameplay content/variety and finish the entire Dota 1 roster than ♥♥♥♥ing cosmetics. People were happy with the monthly/2 months hero release, now they miss it. I'm really excited to see the new Techies, or Terrorblade. That's the haste.

As I said, it would be foolish for me to claim that I had perfected all Heroes.

And it is not necessary that they bring out a new Hero. I'm just saying that it might be nice if they filled up some of the gaps Dota 2 has left.

Dota still has some Heroes that Dota 2 doesn't. People who played Dota would like to also be able to play those Heroes in Dota 2. And people who haven't played Dota would also just like to see some new content. It's not a necessity, people just like it when from time to time a game has something new. About every grand game gets upgrades and new content once in a while.

But I'm curious. Why are you asking all these questions? Do you have some reason that you don't want another Hero, that you try to dissuade us from asking Valve for them? Are you simply curious why we would ask for new Heroes? What's with all these questions when we are only talking about when a new Hero might come out? I am perfectly happy with what we have now, but a new Hero shouldn't hurt, and it might make the game better.

I have a reason why I dont want other hero yes: I honestly don't wanna bother with a new hero when I'm far from getting at least OK with 80% of the hero pool.

That is a valid reason for you to not want another Hero, but not everybody has that same objective. There are also people who just play whatever Hero they think is fun to play, with perhaps some other Heroes in case they need to play another role.

I personally agree with the idea of being able to properly play all the Heroes, but I don't think that getting another Hero in the game is going to be that much of an obstacle. It'll be a while before I manage to master even half of all the Heroes, so it's not like my entire schedule is going to be in disarray because another Hero entered the game. And others might really appreciate the new Hero, besides the fact that I myself might also decide that the new Hero would be one of my favourites, in which case I learn how to play that Hero, and then move on to older ones.

I'm not saying I completely disagree with your notion, but I think that the advantages of a new Hero are more numerous than the disadvantages.
