What's with the russians?
Not that I have anything against them.

But why Russians? I don't see french, germans, japanese, etc etc. Seems like they pushing dota in Russia or something?

Or is it just my time zone being Aus? ? ??? I don't see other nationality when I'm trading either. Mostly if it's some gibberish I don't understand, it's Russian.

russia is big, we are in half of the time zones. that is the reason why everyone sees a russian every day.

Interacting with russians is a good way to practice russian language =))
Я ведь говорю по-английски и по-французски, что мешает нашим братьям учить русский :)

mostly europeans speak english on chat, so its not immediataly apparent they are french or german or spanish ,russians dont, mostly.

thats kinda strange cz I, despite beeing russian, rarely face other russians in trades. 3 out of 4 people with whom I trade are from Malaysia, god knows why.

This is true; my Russian is currently getting pretty good. Backwards R, weird looking A, O with a line through it... all those things.

mb it is gabe's trolling and steam just connects only ppl from different countries^^
for me, it is very annoying that many ppl use google translator. first, the resulting text is usually senseless and i have to guess what did they did input into this translator. second, i am nearly always on ipad so i have to ask to ppl with whom i trade to use steam offer. it is quite edu to explain how to do it, but translator-users brain seems to be burnt after my explanation, and 9 out of 10 just delete me without comments.
and btw, most russians with whom i traded rly do not know eng well, so if i was not rus, it would be impossible to understand what they mean. it's a pity that we have quite a low lvl of education system in most parts of our country ((
