Also, here's some advice. You can try reading Purge's guide: Welcome to Dota, You Suck then trying out a few heroes on bots. Spend a great deal of time learning how to last hit, ward, support, and item builds. I would say you will do a lot of practicing with bots before you can do real matchmaking. You can add me if you wish, "only girl."

I would recommend the Pyrion Flax guides! They are super hilarious and in no way help you in dota but they provide comic relief from a generally frustrating game. If you actually need help, send me a message or feel free to add me and i can introduce some ez to learn heroes.
