You can't get your items back but the scammer will be banned

Sadly Valve isn't responsible if you trade something that isn't shown in the trade window. therefore i say goodbye to your baby roshan.

There is no such thing as a scammer anymore. Valve put in too many restrictionw to prevent scammers. You gifted him an item and repeatedly told Ste that you wanted to give that item away for nothing. You then gave it away for nothing.

Where exactly is the scam?...

Valve does not return its that you willingly give away, telling Valve repeatedly that you want to give it away for nothing...
