Positives: this is a really pretty game, with a super interesting concept (more on the execution later) and a great cast of characters to save. I really enjoyed playing it, and although none of the puzzles are incredibly difficult, I had a handful of rewarding "a-ha!" moments after a loop of figuring things out.

Negatives: I felt so let down by the ending. It completely changed my outlook on the game as a whole, which is why this is a negative review; I came away with a bad taste in my mouth. I'm mixed on not recommending it, as I feel too much of it is good to thumbs-down the entire thing (which is why Steam needs a neutral option). The "it-was-all-a-dream-and-all-the-actions-you've-just-taken-have-no-meaning" ending drove me up the wall. I felt like it undid all my playing and puzzle-solving beforehand, as of course all the characters are permanently dead, so you've been faffing about for about 5 hours and have ultimately done bugger-all. A shame to finish a game that I had really loved up to that point in such an unfulfilling way.
