Coop isnt working for me

It will just say "Session is no longer available" when trying to connect with my friend. Anyone else have this issue?

you both are playing the same version of SR3?

yeah. just the basic versions, no DLC installed

not what i meant ;) there are cut and non-cut versions of SR3 available and they can't be played in coop. your're both from the same country, you should have got the same version

Yeah, we didnt do anything really. We just waited a day or so and it worked. Im guessing the Steam servers were too preoccupied with the sale.

Cant get it to work here either.
We can see each others game lobbies, but we cant join.
Just says that the host needs to accept, but nothing pops up.
The connecting player, just gets booted back to the menu, with the message saying that the game is no longer available -.-

yeah thats what happened with us. We never changed anything, it just started working randomly

My friend and I could play this afternoon but yesterday night, and again tonight we are not able to join one another in game ..

same here, I' m guessing by all the sudren 'co op not working' topics that I'll give up for today and try again tomorow.

Finally it worked..
Verified game cache a few times. After 3-4 tries, it downloaded ~13mb or something.
Restarted my PC (as did my friend), not that its usually needed :)
Then started the game and it said "Finishing install.." and now it all works

my guess: it could just be steam summer sale and the server overload ;)
