And now what?

How about checking the games system-requirements BEFORE buying a game? ;)

I'm on a Mac as well... Bootcamp solves the problem, I'm actually pleasantly surprised on how well my iMac runs Windows games. :)

Hey all of you PC gamers and apple haters. Can you please stop saying that only PC's can handle games. I have an apple laptop and have yet to run into a game that I can't run on max settings. My computer is a top of the line computer that can run basically anything. It is lighter and thinner than any laptop of comparable hardware. Sure you probably spent less on your computer, but my computer will last longer, it will never get a virus, and if I have a problem I can go the highest rated technology support group that is out there. PC's are good for the money that you spend on them, but if you have the money then Macs are the way to go. Also I just prefer Apple's operating system better than Windows(that's just completely my opinion).

P.S. Don't try to tell me what you can do things with your PC that I can't do on my mac, because I can run windows and linux, so everything you can do I can do. And yes you can build a mac just like you can build a PC.

P.P.S I'm also thinking about building a PC in the future once I have the money saved up, so don't even try to call me an "iSheep" cuz I know my ♥♥♥♥.

Oh and yeah, just get bootcamp or parallels or something to run windows on.

I play a ton of games on my mac, both though os x and through win 7 and win 8 on my various dual-booted mac.

I use macs because I do a lot of video editing, and I like the mac apps for video and page layouts.

Still, as a person who's done his own work on both macs and pcs, the hardware is the SAME. The only thing that's different is the os. Intel macs use the same stuff as pc. I know: I've looked inside both and replaced parts on both.

Similarly, I agree with you, except the hardware statement. Yes macs have the same proccessors and graphics cards etc, but the hardware that apple has over PCs are the external hardware and build quality also the motherboards are all apple custom designed/ordered. This is part of what makes mac computers more expensive. I know I'm bieng picky, but the little things often matter more than people think.

Pibob1: this is true. Had not thought of that, since I don't mess with motherboards. Same with the externals. Mostly, I was looking a graphics cards, processors and HDs, although my new mac has a Fusion Drive, and that's something the PC doesn't have. Also, macs have thunderbolt, which really rocks when transferring data from an external HD. However, I will say, modern Macs can be just as powerful as some of the best PCs.

The new Mac Pro (besides being insanely expensive) is, for example, WAY more machine than I need. Even now, I have 16gb of ram, but hardly use even half of that unless I'm working with raw video.
