Is There a Mod That Fixes The Helicopter's A.I.?
This game is great and a lot of fun, but the helicopter's A.I. has issues. It will often take off prematurely. For example, it will take only 14/30 when it's surrounded by civilians, even if there's no zombies around (it doesn't say, "LZ is Hot!", it just leaves for no reason). And sometimes it'll pick up 8 civilians, say, and then it'll sit there waiting when no other citizens are even close, and I have to manually make it leave.

I know that the T key forces the copter to leave, but I'm certain I'm not doing that. Anyone else have this problem? Has anyone run across a mod that alters the heli's AI to be less stupid?

Or is it intended to be another random dice roll of the game? I.e. the pilot wusses out or panics and leave too early... :(

Nah, it's just that the chopper has a timer (as far as i know) that once it ends, it takes off. Once it lands, the "timer" shows up, depicted by a small pointer going clockwise, in the "number of people inside the chopper" circle.

personally, I dont like the timer, its all just like "whats that? a crowd of unarmed civilians are running to the LZ and have zombies right on their ♥♥♥? better take off!"
