There is an example of dynamic pathing in the example map l4d_deadline01 included with the SDK (you'll need to back up once and enter the deadline folder). This example has cars instead of walls, stairs or ladders, but the effect should mostly be the same. You'll also have to incude nav blockers to block or unblock, depending on the path you wish to unlock. (Or bots will walk through walls, use ladders, etc.
