I was bored and said "f
ck it, I'm going to make a re-skin of Ellis' shirt. I looked online and found this guide (http://l4d2.gamebanana.com/tuts/9294).
I'm not going to buy Photoshop so I tried using Gimp. But this brought up a problem.
At the beginning of the guide it says "You will also need a plug-in if you are using Adobe Photoshop." with no mention of needing a plug-in with Gimp. But then, a paragraph later it says "If you are using photoshop (as I strongly recommend you to do) you will find the plug-in here: http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=39 If you are using Gimp or similar softwares you will find the plug-in by searching for VTF Plug-in.
So I do have to download a plug-in for Gimp? OKay, but I looked on Google and found no such plug-in.
"Finding the VTF-file will be very easy for you! You'll just have to download the VTF-files for the characters from here: http://www.lassejensen.org/FPSBanana_vtf-files.zip"
That link takes you no where. Where do I get the VTFs?
