Easier Way to Edit L4D Textures?
Is there something I can do to make it easier to identify what goes where with these textures? Like without guessing where that patch of skin on the Smoker goes and without continous trial and error. It's just so difficult seeing everything all spread out so I didn't know if there was something I was missing to make identifying parts of the textures less difficult.

The only way to see where each polygon is mapped is AFAIK with a modeling program. You'd have to decompile the model with something like crowbar, and import the meshes and textures into a modeling program like Blender or Maya. These programs have a pretty steep learning curve though.

Eh, yeah I remember a little bit of Blender but not not quite enough. Thanks for the info.
