How would one go about making a survivor voice mod?
I found an ash skin for nick from evil dead 2 and i was disappointed there was no sound file to go along with it like ash's awesome one liners so i was thinking of making one myself only i don't exactly know how as i've never done any modding before can someone give me the basics of making a survivor voice mod?

The basics of sound modding are simple. You need to make the sound you want to replace a game sound with the same length, file type, number of channels (mono/stereo), and name as that file you are going to replace. Then recreate the folder structure to those sounds and include an addoninfo.txt, finally package everything into an addon with vpk.exe. Crash course right there.

The problem with trying to mod survivor voices is there are hundreds of voice lines for each survivor (2,547 for just Nick), and it takes a lot of media editing to get enough to cover most, at least, of the survivor lines that might actually play during the normal course of a campaign.
